Ok so after the daytime ceremony we got ready for the night. It is normal here in Norway to do a preparty before going out, because alcohol is expensive and when youre buying it at public events and/or bars and clubs even more. So the people meet in the evening to drink a bit cheaper stuff bought from groceries or the so-called "Vinmonopolet", the only shop where you can buy stronger alcoholic beverages, like wine and liquor.
On the first evening of the festival concerts, we were invited to Kristina's place, one of our buddies. Check out some pictures of this very funny gathering:

The buddies!! Very nice girls!
Ok so then we went to the concert, and we missed the first band... but we were just in time to watch "Sirkus Eliassen", a very popular Norwegian disco/dance-band. For my German friends at home: Imagine something like "Die Atzen" or the late "K.I.Z." in Norwegian... ;)
All in all, it was a really cool gig! What i absolutely loved after the concerts, is this:
Awesome "lightshow" on the buildings. It felt really special when being there, turning away from the stage and seeing this... the buildings almost looked organic with the lights on them!
All in all, an awesome night! Only to be topped by the next night of the semesterstart festival, you'll see! ;)
Cool pictures and nice girls ;-)
