Pizza Buffet at Dolly Dimples and some daytime impressions

On the day after the concerts we went to Dolly Dimples, an American style pizza restaurant in the beautiful shipyard plaza where the Fish Market is located, too. We had something called a "Pizza Buffet" - you pay one time and get a softdrink, and share huge pizzas with your group. And it was very tasty, indeed! Compared to the other tables participating in the event, our table ate 7 pizzas alltogether, I think the other tables ate something like 2 or 3 pizzas per table... come on, we were hungry!!! :)

Waiting for the meal... notice the unusual 0.6 l glasses!

The rest of the bunch!

Finally! Big pizza for big hunger!!!

This one was my favorite: Chicken and beef!!

Now for some impressions of the shipyard plaza and other locations around Kristiansand. I really like this city, it is not so big and has a very peaceful and easy-going atmosphere all around town. Even downtown you don't feel like being in a city...

People just come with their boats here to have a meal in the restaurants around... the red building to the left is the fish market

Fantastic! More restaurants all around.. the small bridge on the left side leads over to Odderoya, which is located behind the buildings seen in the background of this picture.

A view from the bridge mentioned above. The "strange" building arching over on the left side is Kilden, the modern concert hall built here some few years ago. In Google maps satellite view it is not even updated, so you just see the construction site there.

I would really like to have one of those boats...
